Ripping CDs Where Artist / Track Info Not Known

I have been ripping some of my CDs and have come across a problem when the artist / album title / track name are not found. It still rips the CD but I can't see where it is saving the information, certainly not to the destination I have entered. Also, it now seems not to recognise a CD I have previously ripped, into a different format, and all the details were present then.

Any ideas ?

First try to read out CD Text for metadata. If the CD has no CDText type in the missing metadata ahead of ripping it.

When you say metadata do you mean the artist name and album name ?
