I've been using the suite of db applications for years on my iMac without any issues. Now the CD ripper can't find my drive. Under,"Preferences," "CD ROM," "Drive," it says,"No Drive Selected." It is in print that does not give me the ability to select a drive. I use an external drive and as earlier stated, I have had no problems with this drive and the iMac using CD Ripper for years until now. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Mac OS version: 11.6.4. dBpoweramp Release: 17.6 (2).

Re: dbpoweramp can't find drive
Could it be this?:
macOS Catalina (or newer) introduces per program security access settings, normally OS X will ask when the program tries to access something if it should be granted permission. This security setting can also be set at a later date, click the Apple menu icon: System Preferences >> Security & Privacy >> -
Re: dbpoweramp can't find drive
Wow! That appears to have worked. Thank you so very much for your assistance. That makes my life so much easier. I have a stack of CD's to rip and now I can start getting that done. Thanks again and have a great evening.Comment
