    Ripping to external drive MacOS

    Hello-
I'm using dbpoweramp 16.6 on a Mac Mini M1 running OSX Monterey 12.1. I am trying to rip CDs to an external hard disk and getting "Unable to create output folder" and "Error renaming" errors. The MacOS system settings are configured to allow dbpoweramp to write to "Removable Volumes." When I run dbpoweramp 16.6 on my intel-based Macbook Air running MacOS Catalina, I have no trouble ripping CDs to the very same external drive. Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

Try ripping to the music folder, does that work?

Yes, I can rip CDs to the Music folder in my home directory on the internal drive of the Mac Mini.

Then CD Ripper does not have the correct access rights to write to the external drive, it is OSX which is stopping dBpoweramp from writing to that location.

          Thanks-

As mentioned, dbpoweramp should have access to write to external drives since this has been configured in the System Preferences as shown in the attached file. This is the only information I have been able to find to grant applications access to files and folders.
