Preferred platform for rip, Windows or Mac?

Hi, I will purchase dbpoweramp and some addons to rip my ~ 500+ CD:s.
I have both windows and mac machines and will rip both to FLAC and ALAC (batch convert one to the other).

• in windows I have an ASUS SDRW-08U7M-U ZEN DRIVE
• on the mac I have the Apple super drive

Which platform would you recommend for the ripping?
