Looking for a USB bus powered drive for ripping for Mac

I've been burning CDs in my basement using a Mac mini and a 5¼" internal drive with a SATA to USB adapter. But with the new year I will get a MacBook Pro, and will move the ripping operation to my dining room table. I'd like to get a USB bus powered drive. Can anyone recommend a good drive?

Our advice is to buy two quite cheap, but different drives (from different manufacturers), often if a disc cannot be read in one drive, it can be with another (if the disc is recoverable).

I want something USB bus powered that dbPowerAmp will be able to detect and automatically set the offset. Any recommendations.
