    Simple Apple Lossless Compression Setup

Hi, I'm new to the software and forum. Trying to set up a system that's as close to Apple's for popping a CD into my drive (2018 Mac Mini with external drive) and having the CD Ripper automatically rip the files into Apple Lossless compression and store them in a folder hierarchy that includes Artist/Album title. I see the option to set up a profile. Is there a way to do something similar there? Also the ripping right now takes easily 10 times longer than doing it through iTunes. Any reason for such a difference? Thanks!

If you never change the settings, then a profile is not needed.

iTunes is not a secure ripper, if you want dBpoweramp to rip the same as iTunes (speed) then switch to burst ripping. Enabling secure ensures the disc is checked for errors.
