Joy Orbinson CD not ripping

Hi

Hope someone can help....my new Joy Orbinson CD from a reputable seller will not rip in dbpoweramp or play on my pC with VLC....it will however play in my Rotel CD player. Below is the ripping errors - one from the first track - the rest of the tracks are identical except for the track name. I am thinking it may be a win10 issue or perhaps it is something on the disc itself?:

Error ripping to FLAC, 'Track 1' to 'Z:\Shared Music\Joy Orbison\Still Slipping Vol. 1\01 Joy Orbinson - W- Dad & Frankie.flac'
Error unable to open File 'Z:\Shared Music\Joy Orbison\Still Slipping Vol. 1\01 Joy Orbinson - W- Dad & Frankie._' for writing. [clEncoder::BeginConversion]

I am on 16.6 version dbp and 64bit Win 10...

Any pointers gratefully received!

Is the drive z:\ your HDD or NAS? Can you access z:\ and write files to z:\?

No problem with the Z: . It is a NAS yes.

Above is the result - within about 20 seconds of hitting Rip...

Checked my NAS. Read was fine, write was not...got it working in the end - your pointer was ace...thank you...I am not a very computer literate person, but have learned thanks to you... :-)
