    Extremely Slow CD Ripping

CD Ripper has always been very fast. The ripping process is now dead slow, one CD can take more than 2 hours (sometimes won't complete for hours), I haven't changed any setting.

Using Windows 10 (with latest updates), both ASUS and Pioneer CD drives have the same slow problem. Laptop is ASUS Zenbook Pro Duo UX582.

    Any help appreciated.

Set the encoder to 'Test Conversion' and ripping mode to Burst, if still slow then is your cd drive.

Ripping mode is already at "Burst", need help as I can't find the "Test Conversion" at Encoder (see screen grab).

Personally, I don't think it is my 2 CD drives as both work very fast with EAC (I still prefer to use your CD Ripper if possible)

"Test Conversion" is an encoder like mp3, flac etc. pp. Look for "Test Conversion" in the selection box of at "Rip to".
