CD with album artist and artist different

I suppose this would be an instance of a guest musician on a particular song. I've tried several famous ones
1) Mariah Carey - One Sweet Day
2) Barbara Streisand - You Don't Bring Me Flowers
3) Michael Jackson - The Girl is Mine
4) Michael Jackson - Beat It
5) Fallout Boy - Beat It
6) Beatles - While my Guitar Gently Weeps

What's your question? Yes, one can have album artist as a different name than artist. If you want multiple artists for "artist" tag, simply enter a ";" between the two names. For example:

artist tag =
The Beatles; Eric Clapton

Album Artist is the most important one for most players in my opinion.

For example, if your listening to a soundtrack, I would want Album Artist as 'Various', and then then use the Artist tag to specify the correct artist(s) on a track-by-track basis.

One exception I use is to put '.feat' (followed by the artist(s) ) in the actual track name if this is relevant.

A collection will do it. A 100 song collection at 7 digital. Classic 80s Hits Various Artists 100 Tracks 16-bit/44.1kHz FLAC.

The avante garde highlight of the set is Joe Lynn Turner's "Lunatic Fringe" which is a cover of "Dirty Woman" from Pink Floyd.

If only the liner notes for "Total Eclipse of the Heart" had the name of the lost vampire book its riffing.

I think the 40 Best of 60s 70s 80s 90s Remixes is a bit more of a top 40 flavor to it. The 80s songs have a classic rock bent to them.
