Ripping and CD Quality

Hello,

I am ripping CD's as a WAV an FLAC file without any compression, upscale and etc.

Even in 100% Accurate rips, the quality is not as good as CD. I am comparing the WAV files with CD sound and CD is more clear and detailed.

What is the reason of this and how can I manage to catch the exact CD quality.

If AccurateRip verified the rip then the data off the CD is bit perfect. As long as you did not use any DSP effects then look at your playback if you are unhappy with the sound.

Is there a particular reason that the Quality V2 is set to medium by default? Will setting it at high signifigantly increase the sound quality
of the ripped end product? I other words would I likely be able to notice a difference? I play my files in 2 vehicles; one with Bose and the other
with Burmester (Mercedes).

Quality V2, what do you mean exactly?

The slider to the right of the format selector and below the mode. V2 may be superfulous.

I assume you are ripping to mp3 (lame) and selecting VBR V2. That's what I use for my portable files, with all the default settings.
