Is the AIFF format saving as AIFF-C?

I set the ripping format to AIFF. All tracks are named with the ".aiff" extension, but in my Mac file finder each track lists "kind" as "AIFF-C audio". Does this mean my files are being saved as compressed AIFF? I want to use the fully uncompressed AIFF format.

We write only uncompressed aiff, you can check by ripping one track to aiff and one to wave, the filesizes should be very similar.
