R17.3 Error... FIR frequency cutoff invalid...

I just upgraded from R16 to latest R17, but now getting this error when ripping CD...
FIR frequency cutoff invalid should be > 0 and < (SampleRate / 2) [clDSP::BeginConversion]

Same thing happens with a different CD. Never had that problem before with R16, and searching this forum doesn't yield solution.

Please advise next steps.

Looks like it might have been from a Lowpass DSP filter being active, though I have no idea how it got there! I cleared that setting, and now ripping OK.

However, would appreciate clarification re if/when such a filter should be applied.

You should not have it, if ripping CDs.
