HDCD message?

Hi

I've just realised that I can rip HDCD encoded CD's with dbPoweramp CD Ripper. I've tried a couple and all seems well apart from a drop down message that I'm unsure if I should check:

"+6db Amplification(Align 20 Bit Result in Upper 24bit Range)"

This means nothing to me, should I enable this or not?

Some hdcds rip quietly, but some are mastered with louder volumes, you are best to leave unchecked and use something like replaygain to normalize the volume between rips.
