I bought a new PC just for ripping CDs.
Since the new PC I have the problem that CD Ripper often does not read the CD after inserting it.
About every second time the CD is not read. (The PC always recognizes the removal.)
I often have to click the rescan button three or four times before the CD is read.
The PC has four drives via external SATA and 2 via internal SATA - and CD Ripper is started six times.
I've been doing this for 4 years without any problems. But very often the new PC does not update the CD change.
The recognition does not follow a logical pattern.
Does anyone know whether a screw has to be set on Windows?
Could that be because of the SATA cards?
But the problem appears on the internal as well as external drives. And these are different SATA card manufacturers.
