File replacement -overwrite existing flac files or rip new ones.

    Hello all,

Quick question, is overwrite and existing file ok ?

I have nearly 260 albums of music on my laptop, currently all in flac however it turns out I didn't set up dbpoweramp correctly ( I followed the advice written here at this link - https://www.dbpoweramp.com/cd-ripper-setup-guide.htm )

This morning I have set it all up following the guide and I just wondered as I'm going to be re-ripping all my albums today, is overwriting them ok advised etc. or am I better off deleting all of my music and starting a fresh rip ?

My FIIO M11 turned up yesterday so while i wait for my sd card to arrive i though i might start doing some preparation.

    looking forward to your replies

You are best to delete the existing files, just incase the metadata is different slightly this time around, will save you from having some duplicate files.
