dBpoweramp rips CDs but no other Mojave application does now...

I have the strangest situation happening in Mojave.

Currently only dBpoweramp rips CDs. iTunes and XLD don't acknowledge a CD in the drive. Can anyone theorize why only dBpoweramp works but nothing else does and how I can fix it?

I will be eternally grateful to anyone with insight. Thanks

    See:

macOS Catalina (or newer) introduces per program security access settings, normally OS X will ask when the program tries to access something if it should be granted permission. This security setting can also be set at a later date, click the Apple menu icon: System Preferences >> Security & Privacy >>

dBpoweramp works fine. It's the other applications that don't now.
