ReplayGain tag "replaygain_track_gain" missing in Rip, appears after Convert

*Screenshots attached of all described below.

    Greetings,

ReplayGain DSP is set (within the main Ripper window with Multi Encoder for aiff and alac) to use Track & Album Gain when ripping, but only the replaygain_album_peak and replaygain_album_gain tags are written in the resulting files (both file types have the same tags). When I convert the ripped files (untouched since the rip) with the ReplayGain DSP (and the other DSPs as set when ripping) set exactly the same, the replaygain_track_gain and replaygain_album_gain tags appear, but mirror the album_peak and album_gain tags(?).

When converting files purchased online that were not ripped, I get differing (accurate?) tags for album and track:

Thanks in advance for any help with this.

Re: ReplayGain tag "replaygain_track_gain" missing in Rip, appears after Convert

After further research I found where it was mentioned by Spoon to place the ReplayGain in each encoder when using Multi Encoder. However, the resulting tracks when ripping an entire album only show tags for replaygain_track_peak and replaygain_track_gain. I had removed all DSPs from the main Ripper window before ripping. So now I have gained ReplayGain for tracks, but none for the album, flipping the issue around.

However, when I convert this newly ripped album, ReplayGain album tags are written...? This is very frustrating.

Further testing with different albums using Multi Encoder resulted in the same problem. Moving from Multi Encoder to a single encoder (alac) in the main Ripper window resolved this issue, and resulted in both track and album ReplayGain tags written. Is this a bug in r16.8 for Mac?

R16 handled multi encoder differently to R17, there was major work in R17 to integrate multi encoder into the program so things like album gain would work for each encoder.
