    naming format for "Paste Track Titles from Clipboard"

    dbpa appears to use the naming format "Artist - Title" for the "Paste Track Titles from Clipboard" operation.

    For example, when I paste "English Suite *6 D- BWV811_1 Prélude - Allegro" from the clipboard, the result is:
    Artist = "English Suite *6 D- BWV811_1 Prélude"
    Title = "Allegro"

    I would like the result to be:
    Title = "English Suite *6 D- BWV811_1 Prélude - Allegro"

    Is it possible to change the naming format for this operation to make that happen?

    Thanks,
    John

      Are you pasting from another program like iTunes because dBPA's database doesn't have the tracks?

        Re: naming format for "Paste Track Titles from Clipboard"

        I'm reusing the track titles from a previous EAC rip. I figured out a solution to this issue that works for me. When pasting from the clipboard dbpa detects the string " - " as the delimiter between the artist and title field. Appending " - " to the beginning of the existing title causes dbpa to use the rest of the pasted track title as the new title, even if it contains another " - " string. This can be done with the Bulk Rename Utility, which makes it easy to copy the existing CD track titles from the filenames, with the appended " - " string, to the clipboard.
