OSX or Windows

I'd like to purchase dBpoweramp but am trying to decide between the Mac version and the Windows version - I can run either one. My questions are:

1) Are there any differences between the two versions both in terms of features and functionality?
2) Will the MacOS version still be supported after Apple moves their hardware over to their own chips?

1) Windows has a broader codec support, such as WMA
2) It will work, we will release a future version for the new OS
