The PC with all of his hardware was build up from me in April 2020 and so the Windows installation is nearly clean.

I don't want to do some changes on my main system yet. Never change a running system

I'll try to install it again on a clean Windows 10, if I've finished to build up my 3rd PC or will use a Laptop and try it there also on a clean Windows installation.

Going back to R16.6 for now and try to find the problem using some other PCs and not my main system. Coming back later if I can figure it out where there might be the problem.

But maybe the problem with the of the Album Performer is using the last track's Performer of the disc, within the cue sheet can be fixed in a next release?

E.q. if I've got a compilaton with Various Artists and the performer of last track is Madonna, Various Artists should be the performer of the album's cue sheet and right now it is Madonna.

We will look at that.

With regards to the ripping length, run dBpoweramp Control Center and enable debug mode, rip the CD with R17, then R16 and post the 2 logs please.

If you are quite sure the Windows 10 build is up-to-date with no corruption, then it suggests the issue is with R17.x.

I've also found out, that this must have something to do with the updates of Windows 10.

I've tried another rip on my 2nd PC using me test partition of Windows 10, that I've used until end of February 2020, before I've build up my new PC.

I've done a rip with another cd before I've installed the update using R17 and got a correct file size of 783 MB. After the Windows update I'll get a file size of 706 MB.

So for me the problem belongs somehow to an Windows update after end of February 2020. I'll try to get some more informations what updates has been spread out since them.

Overall I think, that everyone with an up to date Windows 10 should get the same problems now. But I know, that only a few people are using a single image and a cue file.

Check your %tmp% folder has 5GB of free space or more.

Is %tmp% using the path and folder that I'm using in the advanced settings?

Configuration\Advanced Settings\When Converting\
Temporary Folder: S:\temp\dBpoweramp

If yes, then I've aprox 600GB free space there.

Just seen that there is another option for a log in the Advanced Settings. Actived it an ripped the same disc as before again.

No it is likely the cuesheet codec uses %tmp%

Thanks. Aprox 400GB free space on the drive that Windows 10 was using for %tmp%.

Could not reproduce the Various Artist issue, I tried setting the album artist to 'Various Artists' and the cue was written correctly with the main performer as 'Various Artists'

I was using R17.1 from the testing section of this forum.

Thanks, this was my problem. The Album Artist was blank when I've tried it. Is there something in the settings that I can auto fill this field when I have a compilation?`

I've also tried it now again on my Windows 7 PC. Also R17.0 don't rip the correct size of the image file. I'll try it again with R17.1. But R16 still works fine.
