Thumbnail artwork

When I rip a cd to Apple Lossless the thumbnails have the album art. When I rip to AIFF the album art is present in a .jpg file but the thumbnails are just a generic music symbol. How would I get the album art on all of the thumbnails when ripping to AIFF?

Thanks for answering. I am using macOS Catalina 10.15.5.

I do not believe OSX will show this for any AIFF files.
