CD Ripper R17 Can't Find My CD Drive on iMac

    Hi,

Im new to the forum but have owned DBPA for a couple of years. Ive not used it for a few months but due to the current situation I thought id start ripping my CD collection again.

Up until now I have been happy with the software. When I came to use it today on R16.8 my cd drive could not be found. The drive is working as it opens up in finder and iTunes (Which annoyingly opens up every time I insert a disc).

I noticed that my release was out of date so upgraded to R17. £19 later and the same issue occurs. The other apps i.e. music converter, perfect tunes etc... seem to be ok at the moment but I feel like I've just gone and spent the extra money for nothing.

Im running on an iMac which is on OS Catalina with Norton security.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Many thanks

    See:

macOS Catalina (or newer) introduces per program security access settings, normally OS X will ask when the program tries to access something if it should be granted permission. This security setting can also be set at a later date, click the Apple menu icon: System Preferences >> Security & Privacy >>
