    Drive Read Cache

I'm setting up dBp Reference v16.6 to rip my collection of approximately 1,600 classical cds. So far, so good. However, a _detect_ operation on my Drive Read Cache shows a level of 39 KB. Is this an issue, and if so is there a way to set this to the suggested 1024 KB? OS is Windows 7.
    Thanks.

By default it is 1024 KB, the value is on the secure settings page, you can set to any value you wish by selecting the line.

I've set it back 1024 KB. Is this then the cache level that will be used from now on? Also, what did the 39 KB level arising from the "detect" operation in my above post indicate?

It likely indicated that the drives cache was 39KB, however leaving on 1024KB is the safest option, if the wrong value is entered then no secure ripping can take place (based on re-reads).

OK, got it. That's what I will do.
