rip status always "error" message

Hi, I've installed dbpoweramp R16,6 to rip cds to an external drive. It work beautifully for 30 cds. then it gave the "error" message on every track for every given cd. those cd can be read by my computer on VLC media player without a problem so it is not the cds that are at fault. I uninstalled dbpoweramp to reinstall it. it still gives me the same message. how can I solve that problem ? thanx

It is likely the error is that dBpoweramp cannot write to the external drive, check that you can still browse it in Windows explorer.
