    Not in AccurateRip

Trying to rip cd by Special EFX All Stars (featuring Chieli Minucci)released this year but CD Ripper responds with "Not in AccurateRip". I can get the album art from the internet but what does the message mean?

      Re: Not in AccurateRip

Every new CD that I have tried to rip has responded with the "Not in AccurateRip" error. Why is this continuing to happen? Is AccurateRip affected by COVID-19? These are CD's that have just been released. They should be from the first pressing for the US. Why are they not in the AccurateRip database?

Because someone has to rip them, submit to accuraterip, then the database is updated (once a month). The labels do not populate accuraterip, users ripping do.

          Re: Not in AccurateRip

I find it takes anywhere from a month to 2 months for new releases to get populated to accuraterip (takes longer it seems if not many people are ripping the CD).
EDIT: And that's the beauty of PerfectTunes. Later on, I can check all my previous rips against the AR databse using PerfectTunes.
