    Plextor PX-891-SAF Plus Ripping Issues

I just installed a Plextor PX-891-SAF Plus drive and I'm having issues with it detecting cache and C2 during setup. Also, although it reads the CD it doesn't seem to want to rip it. I'm able to play a CD or movie and can even burn a movie with the drive, it just won't rip in dbPoweramp. Any ideas what would cause this?

Have a look at your SATA port in the bios, CD Ripper will access the drive at a lower level than playing CDs or burning.

I'm not sure what I'm looking for/at in the the BIOS/UEFI? What do I need to change? I have two other drives both BD burners(3 total) that access CD Ripper with no delay or slowness. Thank you

You can try one of the other SATA modes (where the plextor connects to).

The plextor is straight into the SATA on the motherboard?

Yes, all three burners are directly into the motherboard.
