Re: AccurateRip Key Disc / offset detection

Very good - thanks a lot!
I have used som thirty CD's to get the drive compatible when it comes to offset.
Now I only need to get rid of the .txt-file, but I'll find out of that from the documentation.

Re: AccurateRip Key Disc / offset detection

I am also having this issue.

Drive is an external {Asus -B-16D1H-U }, dbpoweramp ripper sees it and looks like this in drop down menus looks like this.

Within settings it says unknown drive.

On my old laptop I reset the offset to zero, put in Fleetwood Mac Rumours and DBpoweramp found the drive (built in Matsushita drive) and expected offset straight away and reconfigured.

Old Machine does the same thing when I place this Asus drive into it, says Unknown drive

Placed the known Fleetwood Mac disc in the ASUS drive and it won't configure accurate rip, tried wish you were here and wings at the speed of sound, all worked on old machine. New one WILL NOT configure accurate rip as it says Epected Offset: Unknown Drive

      Please help

Doesn't look like my drive is in the data base.

        Asus -B-16D1H-T is.

        Mine is

        Asus -B-16D1H-U

          See:

Microsoft have updated Windows Defender to include an option called "Controlled folder access" this basically limits every program from accessing key areas of the system unless permitted on an individual program basis. By default this option is off for Windows, however if it is enabled you should add the programs

            Spoon.

That is NOT what is going on.

Again. If I use my old laptop with its built in drive everything works properly so it CANT be what you posted above.

If I then place the new Asus external drive with my old laptop and my new laptop I get what you see in the photos.

It sees the drive but accurate rip won’t configure.

Both machines are windows 11 and both use ESET nod 32.

As said old machine, accurate rip works with built in matsushita drive. Wont configure with new drive.

Again I don’t think new drive is in the drive database

            Please help.

You just have to keep feeding discs until AccurateRip configures, and it will once it has what it needs.
