Hi all - Sorry if this is a silly question. But I’ve realized that my desk surface where I have my CD drive is very slightly slanted. I only noticed this recently when the drive actually slid a few inches during the course of ripping a CD. I still got an Accurate rip. And such sliding of the CD drive doesn’t usually occur to this extent, which is why I hadn’t noticed it before i had already ripped a couple of hundred CDs.
Can I assume:
1) As long as I got an accurate rip that it’s fine the way it is?
2) Is it even an issue to worry about finding a surface where there is absolutely no movement or sliding at all? Or is getting an Accurate rip really all that matters? (I assume that the drive would have given me some kind of “read” error if there was an issue.)
Thanks,
Jeff
