    Ripping Errors

    Using Windows 10, and never any problems before. Haven't ripped anything in a couple of months. Now getting this error on all tracks. Tried 2 different cd's. Help appreciated. Thanks!

    Forgot to add:
    Was able to rip them with Media Monkey and tag with Mp3Tag using the same CD drive.

      Check this path exists:

      C:\Users\M\Desktop

      also see:

      Microsoft have updated Windows Defender to include an option called "Controlled folder access" this basically limits every program from accessing key areas of the system unless permitted on an individual program basis. By default this option is off for Windows, however if it is enabled you should add the programs

        Thanks for the quick response. It was Windows Defender folder thing. FYI - there were a couple of Windows updtates recently that may have caused this.

          Thanks for the quick response. It was the Windows Defender issue. It was blocking dBPowerAmp and some other things. Something must have changed through a recent Windows update.
