Another AR quirk: 2 different rips, both accurate ?

I'm ripping some CD on 2 different machines because of 2 problematic tracks. The other tracks rip accurately on both machines. However, all CRCs are different between the 2 machines.
When I dive into more details with one track, I see that the Disc Id (in tag ACCURATERIPDISCID) is identical on both, but the ACCURATERIPRESULT is different, with both saying it's Accurate, but with a different confidence and a different CRC ?! Or could that mean that for that track there are AR submissions with one CRC and other AR submissions with the other CRC and they therefore are both considered accurate ?

Rip from my Surface Pro 3 with an external DVD drive :

Information ripping to [Multi Encoder], 'Track 10' to 'C:\Users\xxx\Music\Buscemi\Camino Real\10 Buscemi - Camino Real.IGNORE'
      Track 10: Ripped LBA 203602 to 226283 (5:02) in 0:21. Filename: C:\Users\xxx\Music\Buscemi\Camino Real\10 Buscemi - Camino Real.IGNORE
AccurateRip: Accurate (confidence 4) [Pass 1]
      CRC32: 5E995DBC AccurateRip CRC: 5555E550 (CRCv2) [DiscID: 011-00183cd0-00d63443-9a11560c-10]
      AccurateRip Verified Confidence 4 [CRCv2 5555e550]

RIP from my old laptop with built-in DVD drive :

Information ripping to [Multi Encoder], 'Track 10' to 'C:\Users\xxx\Music\Buscemi\Camino Real\10 Buscemi - Camino Real.IGNORE'
      Track 10: Ripped LBA 203602 to 226283 (5:02) in 0:20. Filename: C:\Users\xxx\Music\Buscemi\Camino Real\10 Buscemi - Camino Real.IGNORE
AccurateRip: Accurate (confidence 3) [Pass 1]
      CRC32: E3C88DDF AccurateRip CRC: D65B0A85 [DiscID: 011-00183cd0-00d63443-9a11560c-10]
      AccurateRip Verified Confidence 3 [CRCv1 d65b0a85]

EDIT: only now notice that this input ends with a CRCv2 value while the other shows a CRCv1 value ?! Both machines have 16.6 64-bit and I duplicated the entire configuration from one machine to the other.

The CRCv2 can match on a different pressing, but this has to be within a certain drive offset range, as your drives have different offsets the other drive is outside of the detection range, so matches a CRCv1 which is in the database.
