Won't retrieve metadata

While ripping CDs with Release 15.2 (1) on MacBook Pro [13-inch, Late 2011, OS 10.13.6 (17G8037)], the system hangs while retrieving metadata, necessitating manual input. How to fix?

Thank you. Please advise how to "Uncheck All Media Guide (AMG) from the metadata menu". I've been through all of the menus and can't find this.

When you insert a disc to rip, click the arrow next to "Meta", uncheck AMG there.

Thanks. I missed it because the acronym AMG was spelled out!
