PC to Mac, do I have to re-purchase?

I have been happily using the CD ripper i purchased several years ago on successive Windows 7 laptops but am moving over to an iMac.

Can I use the registration code from the past to validate a new install on the iMac?

If so whereabouts in the software I am using will I find the code - it will take ages to find the paper version :-(
