21-day free trial. Are there restrictions?

I am currently in the second day of the free trial. After ripping one CD perfectly, the software could not find the internal drive.
I tried the next day with the same result - ripped one CD fine then stated "no drive found".
Is this a restriction imposed on the free trial?
If not, then any suggestions?

It is not a restriction, if the drive has disappeared also from Windows Explorer / Finder, then the drive its self has crashed and is not a suitable drive for ripping (drives should never internally crash).
