Ripping from a remote CD Drive

Hi, I am a dBPowerAmp newbie so apologies if this a stupid question.

I have a single license on my laptop which has no CD drive.
However I have a CD Drive on my old Win7 desktop which has been shared and mapped on my lapttop.
However it does not appear in dBPowerAmp, I get "No CD Drive Found" as soon as CD Ripper is open.

Is there a solution to this?
I don't really want to transfer the license to the old desktop, or have to buy a USB CD Drive for the laptop!

No, CD Ripper needs a local CD Drive.
