In CD Ripper, check the CD Drive dropdown. Is the Z: drive selected?

      Hi

      Thanks for reply.

Getting no drop down options as I tried thinking I will get selection.

Just stuck on the "No CD Drive Found" option.

        Re: No CD Drive Found

Which dBpoweramp version/platform are you running? Can you play CDs in the Z: drive in other software?

To start CD ripper, right click on the program (either CD Ripper, or dBpoweramp) >> Run as Administrator.

                Re: No CD Drive Found

I am having this same issue. I have a brand new install of Windows 10 on a Dell OptiPlex 3020 with an i3 processor I am using 15.3.
I somehow managed to rip two discs, but I keep getting this error. I launch the app in Admin mode, and it doesn't help.

If I reboot, it will see the tracks but won't show the tags.

This is happening with both my internal DVD ROM and my external USB DVD RW drives.

I have lowered my User Account Control Settings to the minimum.

Windows does see the CDA files on the drive and I can even copy them to the desktop.

This is not the drive not being found, this is more likely security software blocking dBpoweramp from accessing the internet.

                    Re: No CD Drive Found

Apologies for awakening an old thread. I am having the same problem with dBpoweramp CD Writer. "no CD writers found". Yet dBpoweramp CD Ripper does see the CD (DVD) drive.

I am pretty sure it worked on this PC before the upgrade to Windows 11 Professional. Other CD writing apps such as Windows Media Player Legacy have no problem writing to the drive.
