How to create new album art for a local band's CD?

I've ripped at least 1 CD from a small local band and there is no album art for it. Can I just scan the album art that's on my CD and somehow save that as the album art for my ripped tracks?

Yes. Save the scan in the same folder as the ripped tracks, as cover.jpg or folder.jpg
