Only Metadata being written, no music (v 16.4)

Only Metadata (data looks fine in foobar2000) being written, no music. Windows 10 hp laptop updated from windows 7ish.

The ripped files (hundreds *sigh*) are about 150 K in size. No errors seem to be reported during ripping. Ripping does take minutes per CD soe something is happening. Did I flip a setting somewhere that said write metadata only?

Works awesome on windows 8.1 desktop.

The problem seems to be the faulty flac encoder. Have a look in the news board.

      See:

The libraries for FLAC 1.3.2 contain code which will not run on all CPU types, unlike the predecessor. We held out for 1 year to release 1.3.2 and felt the need to include it in dBpoweramp as for 99.99% of people 1.3.2 runs fine on their system. The issue with this FLAC encoder is obvious, the FLAC files dBpoweramp creates are
