CD Ripper crashes everytime disc is ejected

My trial version of dBpoweramp worked perfectly on Windows 7. Now I have purchased the registered version and it crashes every time a disk is ejected. Error message:

Installed the trial version and have ripped 4 CD's. So far it does not crash when ejecting.

Ok, the trial version just crashed now upon ejecting the 6th disc that I ripped.

Try starting Windows in Safe mode, then run CD Ripper.

Tried it. Also crashes in Safe Mode when ejecting CD.

In CD Ripper >> Options >> set communication to 'Windows Built-in'

I set communication to Windows Internal. CD Ripper still crashes, but not as much. Instead of crashing every time it now crashes once every 4 or 5 discs.

How are you ejecting the disc? by pressing the eject button in CD Ripper, or button on the drive?

Both. It crashes on both software and hardware methods of ejection.

What security software do you have on the system?

Might be a worthy test to uninstall it and see if it solves the issue, because the one you report has never been reported before.

I uninstalled antivirus (PC Matic Super Shield), reinstalled CD Ripper, changed communication back to SCSI Pass Through, then ripped and ejected about 20 CD's with no issues. Then I installed a different antivirus (Avast) and immediately had crashes upon ejecting. I'll keep trying different antivirus programs to see if I can find one that doesn't conflict. Thanks for the help.
