dBpoweramp doesn't find Tags found by iTunes

    Dear All,

I have been using dBpoweramp to rip my CD collection in wave format. Some of my CD's for which iTunes had no problem finding TAGs are not identified in CD Ripper. How can I solve the issue without having to add them manually.

Also, I have a few CDs which are Copy Controlled, I could rip them all at least once using iTunes but CD Ripper does not recognise the CDs. For information the library is exclusively for a personal use. Is there a way to force CD Ripper to read these CDs?

    Many thanks in advance.

iTunes uses its own metadata library, which no one else has access to for CD ripping.

Which Operating system are you using?

You can try the 'defective by design' ripping method in the CD Ripper options menu.

Quick question, what is the difference between an Accurate Rip and a Secure Rip?

AccurateRip is better than secure as it matches from other peoples discs and drives. Secure relies only on your drive, and errors can creep through.
