Problems ripping a CD

I am having issues with my CD ripper.

It is ripping a CD and then not recognising its been ripped and asking if I want to rip the CD that I have just ripped again as though it hadnt already ripped it ?


Not sure if this is a sotware issue or the hard ware is malfunctioning ?
Im crap at this sort of thing so please can you help me and make any answer for IT idiots please !
