To which software application are you referring? If CD Ripper, add track number to your Naming string.

The reason I ask is that the default Naming string in CD Ripper already contains the track number:
[IFVALUE]album artist,[album artist],[IFCOMP]Various Artists[][IF!COMP][artist][][]\[album]\[track] [artist] - [title]
