Hello,
I just switched from the Windows version to the Mac OS after my last PC died recently.
Although both versions look very similar, I am not able to change the speed of any of the two DVD & Combo drives I have connected to the Mac. Although the option is there, is not highlighted and therefore not operative.
The reason is simple: in my Windows version I used to get much less ripping errors when I limited the drive speed to 4x as opposed to let it spin freely.
Is there any way to modify the drive speed in the OS version?
