    Error no encoder specified.

    I have tried two different commercial audio CDs. As examples, the CD ripper shows the following errors for each track, on both CDs.

    Error ripping to , 'Track 1' to '\'
    Error no encoder specified. [dBCoreConverter::ParseCommandLine]

    Error ripping to , 'Track 2' to '\1 -'
    Error no encoder specified. [dBCoreConverter::ParseCommandLine]

    Error ripping to , 'Track 3' to '\2 -'
    Error no encoder specified. [dBCoreConverter::ParseCommandLine]

    I have tried FLAC, MP3, and [Multi Encoder].

    Please help with the settings, or what ever might allow me to rip a CD.

    This is the first time I have tried ripping a CD since upgrading this machine from Windows 7 Pro, to Windows 10 Pro.

    OS is Windows 10 Pro, current update (Build 1703 (OS 15063-608))

    I am using R16.2. I get the same error for R16.3 beta.

    Re: Error no encoder specified.

    On a different computer, I had kept the discussion from I had this problem before, back in February 2015, and the solution was to run CD Ripper as an administrator.

    I did a search of the archives, and nothing was found... I am trying to rip a commercial CD, just recently purchased. I get an error for all 21 tracks. Is there a setting that I am missing? I have selected MP3 (see attached screen capture) I am using release 15.2, having just upgraded from release 14.3, which I purchased

    When running CD Ripper as an administrator, the CDs ripped perfectly. This should be put someplace in the help file.
