Re: multi cds one folder r16

Okay - i will try it with an Double-CD (Pink Floyd). -> And you are right, it put "Disc 1" to the Album Title! THANKS a lot!

Btw, from where came the information for the label (e.g. Sony; EMI)? When ALT+M there is no info about it from the databases.

And i got two more questions for naming:
    1) Can i get the "Captalize Tags" for the Songs as default or have i always to change it under ALT+M?
    2) Can i use the the "album artist sort" from the meta data for folder name? It's not under the choices from "add tags". I want to use a "Collins, Phil" instead of "Phil Collins" as default.

I have no idea which database you initially selected, but it will be 1 of the 4 metadata providers.

I believe you will have to change it in the Review Metadata window (Alt+M).

In the CD Ripper Naming Window, click the Add Tag button and select user defined tag. This will insert [tag]tagname[] into the Base Location. You can then manually change [tag]tagname[] to [tag]album artist sort[].

Add the ID Tag Processing DSP, go to, Settings, Manipulation, scroll to Capitalization, and select, Capitalize First Letters, press OK, to save.

You won't get WYSIWYG, like using ALT+M, but you will capitalise all the first letters, post rip.

Got a problem - some CDs doesn't have an value for "album artist sort" like a cd from 'a-ha'. Now i could use two profiles or add a tag to the cd... but maybe you can help again!
How can use in the naming an "if or"?... When "Album Artist Sort" is available use it as folder name otherwise "Album Artist"

            At the moment:
            [IFVALUE]album artist,[tag]album artist sort[],[IFCOMP]Various Artists[][IF!COMP][artist][][]\[year] - [album]\[track] - [title]

works for -> Cyrus, Billy Ray\1994 - Storm In The Heartland\02 - Deja Blue
works not with "a-ha" -> \2000 - Minor Earth Major Sky\02 - Little Black Heart

May i found something in the CD Ripper Options under Meta Data & ID Tags - there is an option to write the Album Artist Sort - wasn't flag as default...
