multi cds one folder r16

Need a naming string that puts multi cds in one folder with songs tagged 1-01, 2-01, ie.
I don't want folder disc 1,2,3 ie

This is what I've been using but it gives me the subfolder disc 1 that I don't want. ie.....The Best of the Doors, Disc 1

Try the default Naming string and add [disc]- before [track]

Have a look at the album title before you rip. Sometimes the metadata for the album title include ", Disc 1" or something like that. You Need to correct them by Hand so that all discs have the same album title without an extension for the disc number.

Dat Ei makes a Good point. Your naming string:
[IFCOMP]Compilations\[album]\[IFMULTI][disc].[][track]-[title]-[artist][][IF!COMP][artist]\[album]\[IFMULTI][disc][].[track]-[title][]

shouldn't be giving you subfolders based on [disc].

should be

Is this possible?

yes it is possible, but not automatically. In your example you have to assign an offset of 2 for the tracks of disk 2 (right click on a track in the main window).

Exactly where are you getting disc numbers appearing, post a screenshot perhaps?

You can see it in the preview of the Naming, when you check the Multi-Disk -> "Album Artist\2011 08 12 - Album Title, Disc 1\05 - Title"
