Upgrading to version R16

Greetings all: I have been using CD ripper and music converter for several years. I currently own version R14.4. I have decided to upgrade to version R16. I believe I have a CD ripper profile created under my name. Do I need to uninstall the old version before reinstalling these apps? If so, will the new install capture my profile?

Alternatively, may I assume that if I do NOT need to uninstall, the apps will upgrade both installed applications and save my settings?

You should uninstall the old, before installing new. No settings are lost.

You may have already answered this one above: I plan to upgrade from version 15 to 16. I have several ripping profiles set up including multi-rip naming and destination paths etc. Will these transfer over, or will I have to set them up again from scratch? Not an overwhelming task, but time consuming.

They will auto transfer over.
