Lost all my settings

I hadn't ripped a CD in a month or so, but when I tried last night all my CD Ripper settings were back at default.

I was able to recreate them without too much trouble, but I'm wondering what happened. Didn't do any registry cleaning or anything like that.

Any ideas?

Did you upgrade your OS? Did you lose your user profile?

No, nothing. That's what baffles me. I don't even know where my profile is stored.

I thought about a loss of your Windows user profile like it can happen when you update to win 10 (1703).
