 Re: Moving to New Computer

We do not really recommend moving settings as much of CD Ripper configurations are unique to the system. However, dBpoweramp writes to the registry:

 HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Illustrate

 and the file location:

 %appdata%\dBpoweramp

 Re: Moving to New Computer

Should I copy that key (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Illustrate) to my new registry? Both machines are running Windows 7 64 Pro.

I searched my whole C: drive, and couldn't find: %appdata%\dBpowerampComment

 Re: Moving to New Computer

You can do, export the Illustrate Key (folder) from registry editor, and double click it to import on the new machine.

You would type this address into Windows File Explorer (address bar):

 %appdata%\dBpowerampComment

You are best configuring manually, especially as is a different processor architecture.Comment
