Flac 1.3.2

The FLAC codec version 1.3.2 was released by xiph.org at the beginning of 2017. CD Ripper is using version 1.3.1 according to what I can learn from the Control Center. At the same location, it states that no update is required.

Back in the day, there was a simple means to manually check for available updates. This too has disappeared.

Is there a reason for not updating dBpoweramp's FLAC codec to the latest version?

This 1.3.2 release is flawed and does not work on all CPU types. It has been patched but it is a beta release, once stable we will include in dBpoweramp.
