Distorted Audio playing cd track in dBpoweramp - Windows 10 OS

When I play a cd track in dBpoweramp the sound is distorted although the same track plays fine in another player such as MediaMonkey. I am using the latest version of dBpoweramp. How can I correct this?

If you rip the CD using dBpoweramp, then play ripped files in another player, they sound ok?
